The structure was built in 1848 and was originally a stone farmhouse and hay barn; in 2023 it was completely renovated and opened to the public in the winter season of 2024. The “Il Cottage” B&B, a family-run accommodation with breakfast included, is a place created by the owner Oreste’s passion and Francesca’s valuable advice.

Housed in the forest, with a welcoming, warm and informal atmosphere, “the Cottage” will allow you to fully enjoy the tranquility and silence of the place, giving you a break from the hectic rhythm of life and allowing you to enjoy moments of absolute relaxation.

Located on the outskirts of the Bosco di Scodanibbio, on the border between Abruzzo and Molise, in an area rich in truffles (white, black and white truffle) and wildlife (deer, wolf, bear and wild boar), “Il Cottage” is in a strategic position that allows you to reach the ski slopes of Roccaraso Aremogna and Monte Pratello, both via the SS 17 (direction Castel di Sangro) and from the SP 84 (direction Ateleta-Pietransieri-Roccaraso).
